The Stokes name originated more than 60 years ago on a Kentucky plantation. My great-grandfather owned tobacco fields, producing both the leaves for consumption and University of Kentucky specially-developed hybrid seeds for sale. The company “Stokes & Sons” filled barns with the fresh tobacco leaves, leaving the sweet-smelling aroma of drying tobacco that filled the surrounding fields. 
The commitment to quality tobacco products has carried through the generations. Stokes Cigar Club originally began as a group of friends at the University of Oklahoma that enjoyed smoking cigars together. Every one would put in money to split the cost of a box of cigars. In this manner, everyone could try new and different cigars for a great price, and it gave us even more reason to get together!
Our club has since evolved into the website and members you see today. We are committed to providing our customers with the same great deal and quality cigars that our small group began enjoying. We have built a community that will allow cigar smokers to provide feedback and share helpful tips all over the nation.
